Greetings everyone. Welcome back to the Mid Year Stingrays Website. It’s time to kickoff the 2007 season and recap last years activities. We had a great 2006 starting with the club display winning first place at the Sacramento Autorama. Other highlights included Chet and Terrie’s Tri-Tip Bar-BBQ, the Lincoln Car Show, the Tahoe Car Show, the Isleton Cruise, the Chrome Bumper Car Show, and the Napa Valley Collection. We have already completed the 2007 Sacramento Autorama so far this year, Our club display included six cars and one individual entry. The club display didn’t win anything but we should have. Oh well next year will be just as much fun. Hope everyone had a chance to see it.

The event planning group has put together a schedule for 2007 and it is on the web site at 2007 Event Calendar. Some events are the same and a few new ones have been added. Chet and Terrie’s BBQ, the Lincoln Car Show, the Beat the Heat Apple Mountain Run and the Chrome Bumper Show are being held again. Maybe the snow will melt in time to hold the High Sierra Picnic this year. With everyone’s help, we would like to try something new this year. Impromptu runs can be a lot of fun and a good way to meet new people and enjoy the cars. A run can be two or twenty cars. Just let Steve know what you want to do and he can put it on the web site. After it is over, send Steve some pictures and a write-up and he will include it in the next events update.

Hats will be available for $15 at events but this year we have made arrangements to purchase shirts from an on-line supplier. More info to come on the shirts.
