A big thanks to Jim and Diane Lockwood for their efforts towards the Thunderhill Corvette Day. The turnout was less then expected, but everyone I talked to thought it was worth the drive. Our first event on April 25^th looks to be a large turnout based on the early reservations. Larry Luck and Nyle Baker have the tour and BBQ planned perfectly. No side dish is required, but get your $10.00 per person to them pronto! The weather is showing 80 and we’ll be heading up 80 (but not doing 80!). See you at Jaspers at 9:00 am.

The next event planned for May 2^nd is always a big hit with a nice backcountry drive to Chet & Terrie’s beautiful Jackson home . We’ll see you at Intel at 9:00 am (side dish needed).

On May 23^rd, Our River Road Tour & BBQ will get going from South Sacramento to Isleton. The Capitol City Solid Axle (C-1) Club will join us. $10.00 in advance for lunch. Call Mark @ (916) 933-2340. Should be a great drive and display!

I found a great gift idea for the Sting Ray enthusiast. A classic re-issue, limited edition TV guide from the 60’s that brings back some fun memories. Remember when homework came second to “I Dream of Jeannie”! They have several different ones from Mid year model years. Check out their website at http://www.tvguide.com. The Lake Tahoe Corvette Show for June 11^th, 12^th and 13^th in South Shore has had great advance reservations and the hotel rooms are going fast. Ernie can be reached at (530) 542-0485. $75.00 per car with pre-registration (which includes lots of goodies & food).
