Gold Country Brunch Run

Our run to Sequoia House in Placerville was attended by 23 members.  The weather was perfect.  The cruise started at Safeway in El Dorado Hills, we went out Salmon Falls road to Highway 49, and then on into Placerville.  Private parking was provided for our cars.  We were greeted with Orange Juice with Champagne, fresh fruit was served with granola, yogurt and home made muffins.  Then came the entrees.  The portion and food was just unbelievable.  Tawnia, the events coordinator at Sequoia House gave us a little talk about the history of the house, and we then were free to roam around the facilities and look at the great old building.

By the way, the no host bar before brunch was a big hit.  All in all, it was a great event.
