Marlene's Last Ride

Marlene Rose passed away on August 12, 2011. 

On August 24, 2011 Mel took her for one last ride in their '65 Corvette, which she loved so much.  After a lovely Mass at a packed St. Mel's, Mel led a caravan of eight midyear Corvettes to Calvary Cemetery where he put his beloved Marlene to rest.

In Marlene's memory, the Midyear Sting  Rays club gave Mel a rose bush - named Dream Come True - and he plans to plant it in a special section of their garden.

Mel really appreciated the turn-out, and plans to join us at future events.

Marlene will be missed!
