Eagles Nest & Incahoots

Our first run of 2009 was a great success with perfect weather.  We had five C 1's, seventeen C 2's, three C 5's and two C 6's.  A total of twenty seven beautiful Corvettes caravanning along back roads from El Dorado Hills to the Eagles Nest Airport near Ione.  At the airport we toured Sanders Aeronautics where they restore vintage aircraft and also have a small collection of classic cars.  Many thanks to the Sanders family for inviting us and giving us a VIP tour.  Also, a another big thanks to club member Jim Smith for setting it up for us.

We then continued our cruise with the C 1's and C 2' only along more gorgeous back roads to Plymouth where we had a great BBQ lunch at Incahoots Restaurant.  Thank you to the crew at Incahoots for the nice setting and good food.
