July 23rd - Isleton Cruise & Display

Despite one of the hottest days on record ,we had a really great turn out.  We had seven C-1's and sixteen C-2's with a total of forty two very brave souls!  It helped that we rescheduled everything  an hour earlier.  The morning cruise along the river road was nice and not too hot, but by noon it was over 100 degrees and most everyone left as soon as they were through with lunch.  The trip home in a non-air conditioned car was brutal.

Our thanks to Joe Rogers (the owner of Isleton Joe's) for hosting the display and lunch.  He was hoping to put on a better party for us, but because of the heat it didn't work out as planned.  Next year we will do this event in the Spring or Fall when the weather is not so hot.
